How To Configure Insights


  1. Access Settings: Click on the Cog Icon to open the Settings menu.
     
  2. Edit Subjects: Select "Edit Subjects" to navigate to the Subject selection screen.


  3. Subject Selection: Select the subject to be edited , from the subject list 
  4. Select Insights: from the Page Options:
    • Do not generate insights for this subject.
      is the default.

    • Use AI to decide which insights to generate
      inmydata automatically scans your data for insights, picking out and highlighting facts relevant to you.

    • Use the following settings to decide which insights to generate

      The first step is to select one or more Date dimensions to use to build the insights. The add button shows all available dimensions.
      Next, select the calendar periods to be used to compare values.and choose the comparisons to be shown.Finally, add all the dimensions that are to have insights generated for, and the metrics to be displayed.it is possible to select "Use the same set of metrics or every dimension" if you do not want to set different metrics for each dimension.

      Select Ok to save the insight settings to the subject.
