  2. Edit Calendars: Select "Edit Calendars" to navigate to the Calendar management screen.

  3. Add Calendar: Click on the "Add Calendar" button on the left side to initiate the creation of a new calendar, you will be prompted for the New Calendar's Name
  4. Configure Calendar Details:
    • Label: Assign a name to the calendar for easy identification.
    • Start Date: Set the first date of the calendar, ensuring it's earlier than the earliest date in your datasets.
    • Number of Years: Define the span of the calendar in years.
    • Calendar Type: Choose between Gregorian or ISO Week calendar structures.
    • Offset Years: Specify the number of years to offset for calendars accommodating 53-week years.
    • Extra 0/53: Decide whether to add a week 0 as the offset; check this option if desired.
  5. Review Generated Periods: Click on "Show generated calendar periods" to verify that the dates align with your expectations.

  6. Save Calendar: After confirmation, save the new calendar configuration.

inmydata allows the use of multiple calendars, this enables multiple perspectives of data, for instance you can look at data based on a calendar year or a financial year.

Assigning calendars to subjects

Once a calendar is created, it can be applied to specific subjects, allowing the subject's data to be viewed through the appropriate calendar settings.

In the Edit Subject Screen the Calendar Page shows the available and selected Calendars for the subject. Use the central buttons to select the calendars that should be available to the users.
